VAL MASINO MULTIPITCH
VAL MASINO MULTIPITCH
If you’re looking for solitude and adventure, the upper Val Masino is the place for you.
With long approaches on foot, massive granite walls offering little protection, and the deep sense of isolation you feel on the climbs, this area remains untouched by the crowds.
Even phone signal is often out of reach, adding to the sense of remoteness. There are no lifts, no motorized access, no shortcuts: here, every route has to be earned.
In the mountain huts, you’ll still find the simple, down-to-earth spirit of the past, with warm hospitality and the true atmosphere of the mountains.
MAJESTIC SCENERY
Massive granite pinnacles soaring for hundreds of meters.

LONG APPROACHES
Getting to the routes means leaving the valley far behind, most tours take two days to complete.

CLEAN CLIMB
Most routes have belay stations equipped only with pitons, so we'll need to place our own protection with cams while climbing the pitches!

The next morning, you’ll set off early from the hut to approach your chosen climbing route. The descent can be done either on foot or by abseiling, depending on the route.
