TERMS AND CONDITIONS - VERTICAL PROJECT MOUNTAIN GUIDES
If you are booking a course or an alpine ascent with a Vertical Project mountain guide, we invite you to carefully read our Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at vp.guidealpine@gmail.com or at nicola.rizzato.ga@gmail.com.
Vertical Project Mountain Guides is a team of certified guides consisting of Jacopo Zezza, Luca Moroni, and Nicola Rizzato (hereinafter referred to as “Vertical Project Mountain Guides” or “mountain guide”), offering courses and guided outings in the mountains (hereinafter referred to as “activities”).
By paying the booking fee for an activity with a Vertical Project mountain guide, a contract is established between you and the guide organizing the activity.
All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT.
What is included and excluded in the price is detailed in the specific program for each activity. Unless otherwise stated or agreed, the price refers exclusively to the professional guiding or instructional service provided by the mountain guide. Therefore, any other expenses (including but not limited to transportation, meals, accommodation, mountain huts, lift tickets, taxis, etc.) for both participants and the guide are to be covered by the participants and shared among them.
To confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total price of the activity is required (or full payment if the activity takes place within 30 days of booking). The balance must be paid 30 days before the start date, unless a different arrangement has been made.
If the full payment is not received by the due date (unless otherwise agreed), Vertical Project Mountain Guides reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the cancellation fees outlined below.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer or cash.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp and will take effect once received. The following cancellation fees apply (percentage of the total price of the activity):
A. More than 30 days before the start date: Loss of deposit (50% of the total price).
B. Less than 30 days before the start date: 100% of the total price.
Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable.
Only the mountain guide has the authority to reschedule or cancel an activity. The assessment of weather, environmental conditions, and overall feasibility of the activity is solely at the guide's discretion.
If an activity needs to be rescheduled or canceled due to weather, environmental conditions, organizational reasons (such as too few or too many participants), the guide will inform you as soon as possible. In such cases, you have the option to:
A. Reschedule the activity for a different date or switch to another activity of equal or greater value (paying the price difference if applicable).
B. Rceive a voucher for the amount paid, valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The voucher can also be transferred to another person upon written notice.
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used for the chosen activity or any other activity of the recipient’s choice.
Rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, ski touring, and all activities in natural environments involve inherent risks (including but not limited to rockfall, avalanches, or terrain collapse).
The mountain guide will inform you about the specific risks involved in the activity during a pre-activity briefing and will minimize risks through experience and expertise. However, a residual risk is always present due to the nature of these activities.
By booking an activity, you agree to:
A. Follow all instructions provided by the mountain gide.
B. Take care of any equipment provided and reimburse for any loss or damage.
C. Avoid reckless or dangerous behavior that could put yourself or others at risk.
For group activities, if even one participant is unable to continue safely, the guide has the right to suspend or modify the activity. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Vertical Project Mountain Guides hold liability insurance (RCT) and helicopter rescue coverage for their clients.
However, it is your responsibility to ensure you have:
Adequate personal insurance covering all activities you will undertake.
Trip cancellation/interruption insurance to cover unforeseen travel changes or injuries.
A suitable level of physical fitness and health for the booked activity.
Your privacy matters to us. We collect your personal information only to provide the requested service. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
During activities, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes and published on Vertical Project Mountain Guides’ social media channels.
By booking an activity, you declare that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as all specific details related to the chosen activity.
