BREITHORN WEST 4165m
BREITHORN WEST 4165m
It’s probably the easiest and most accessible 4000-meter peak, thanks to the ski lifts in Cervinia. From the summit, it feels like you can almost touch the Matterhorn, and the view of the other peaks in the Monte Rosa massif is simply breathtaking! The climb is typically done in a day, making it perfect for a first experience at high altitude. Together with Punta Giordani, it’s also an excellent way to acclimatize for more challenging climbs, like Capanna Margherita.
CLIMB YOUR FIRST 4000m PEAK
This is an ideal one-day climb for those approaching high-altitude mountaineering for the first time.

SCHEDULE
Meet the guide in the morning for an equipment check and a briefing on the planned activity. From Cervinia, we’ll take the lifts up to Plateau Rosa at 3480m. From there, with crampons on and roped together, we’ll climb the ski slopes towards Colle del Breithorn, where our goal will already be in sight. Following the south face with a couple of wide diagonals, we’ll finally reach the summit. The descent will follow the same route as the ascent.
NOTE: The meeting time and location will be confirmed at the time of booking.
